And the important administrative institution or nucleus of the field administration is the district administration, which has a tradition of almost two hundred years. It is the center for performing and coordinating all the executive work of the government at the district level. The role of the district administration is very important in containing and fulfilling the aspirations of the general public of the country. The district administration has to appear before the people every day for land management, revenue collection, law and order situation control, local government, education, public examinations, healthcare, national and international day celebrations and national and local elections etc. This web portal of the Lakshmipur district administration is to present the district administration to the people in a more simple and up-to-date manner.
